Thursday, September 24
Eau Claire, Wisconsin
We begin our day traveling eastward to our neighboring state, Wisconsin. We enjoy a delicious lunch at the Norske Nook before our guided “Old World” Amish tour learning about their lifestyle, cottage industries and visiting an Amish home. We’ll check into our hotel and later visit the Autumn Harvest Winery for some sampling. Upon arrival at Cabin Ridge, we board a horse drawn wagon taking us to dinner and entertainment.
Lunch and dinner are included.

Friday, September 25
Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Warrens, Wisconsin is the home of the 39th Annual Cranberry Festival and our destination for the day. Over a thousand booths including arts and crafts, antiques and flea market, farmer’s market, foods featuring cranberry products, local cheeses, ethnic delicacies and more are ours to explore. At the Cranberry Museum, we learn of the development of tools and machinery used in the production of cranberries. We top off the day at the Fanny Hill Dinner Theatre, featuring the hilarious performance of, “A Nice Family Gathering”.
Continental breakfast and dinner are included.

Saturday, September 26
Home
Durand, Wisconsin boasts one of the finest cheese plants in the state. Eau Galle Cheese produces over 9 million pounds of Parmesan and Romano cheese each year. We will tour the factory and do sampling of that quality Wisconsin cheese. A short drive takes us to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota for an up close and personal look at these majestic birds! Enjoy an enlightening presentation and photo op with a live eagle. Stopping for lunch at L.A.R.K. Toys in Kellogg, we also have a chance to ride the world’s most outrageous carousel, all hand wood-carved creatures. Following lunch we return home.
