General
Information
Prices: All vacation prices are based on a,
per person, double or single occupancy rate. Triple or quad
prices may be available upon request. The listed price for each
vacation is based upon prices, fares, fuel costs and exchange
rates in effect at the time of printing (October 2007). New Ulm
Travel Fun reserves the right to amend the price if necessitated
by changes in the prices, fares, fuel costs or exchange rates.
Meals:
Included meal designations are B=breakfast; CB=continental
breakfast; L=lunch; D=dinner.
Reservations: Tour reservations may be
made in person, by mail, or by phone. You may call 507-233-4000
or 1-800-657-0151. Our mailing address is 307 North Minnesota
St., PO Box 775, New Ulm, MN 56073. Please refer to each tour
for the required deposit amount, which is due within 7 days of
making a reservation. Because each group size is limited, we
encourage early reservations. Final payment is indicated under
each tour.
Cancellation & Refunds: New Ulm Travel
Fun understands that there may be unforeseen circumstances that
make it necessary to cancel your reservation. Please see each
tour itinerary regarding Cancellation Penalties. On motor coach
vacations, unless otherwise stated, a full refund will be made
up to 31 days before departure. For cancellation received 30
days or less before departure, a $50 processing fee per person
plus any non-refundable deposits will apply. On vacations where
airline tickets are involved, please check each trip itinerary.
Tour Information: 10 to 14 days prior to
departure you will receive a packet of information from New Ulm
Travel Fun including luggage tags, name badges, hotel lists,
pick up time and location, itinerary, and other necessary
information.
Itinerary Revisions: New Ulm Travel Fun
reserves the right to revise services included in the itinerary,
including hotel accommodations, attractions, and other items
that may be mentioned in the vacation itinerary.
Tour Deviations: For all air vacations,
it is usually not a problem to leave early or extend your stay
on a vacation. Please advise us A.S.A.P. when making your
reservation!
Travel Time: All vacations are well
planned and well paced. We have timely stops included to
maximize your traveling enjoyment.
Motor Coach Policy: Seat Rotation - On
all vacations we rotate seats on the coach, at least once daily.
Please, No Smoking or Drinking on the motor coach!
Baggage: One large suitcase for check-in
is permitted, per person and one carry on. Weight limit for the
checked suitcase is 50 lbs. Dimensions for the checked luggage
(length +width+ height) is not to exceed 62 inches. Carry on
dimensions is 9x14x22 inches.
Proof of Citizenship: The Intelligence
Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 requires that by
January 1, 2008 travelers to and from Mexico and Canada via land
transportation have a passport or other secure accepted document
to enter or re-enter the United States. Effective January 8,
2007 a passport is required for all air and sea travel to or
from Mexico and Canada. The name on the ticket or electronic
ticket must be exactly as it appears on your ID. Passports must
be valid for at least six months from the return date of travel.
Not Included: Charges for excess baggage,
passport and visa fees, certain taxes, cancellation insurance
and personal items are extra and not included in your vacation
package.
Gratuities: All included meals, sights,
step-on-guides, and other attractions have gratuities taken care
of by New Ulm Travel Fun. Gratuities are customary for the
Escort and Driver to reward quality service. We leave this to
the discretion of each vacation participant and suggest they be
done on an individual basis.
Free Pre-tour Lodging: Lodging for the
night before departure on any extended tour (7 nights or more)*
will be provided for travelers who live more than 75 miles from
the designated departure point. Call for details. *Does not
apply to New Ulm Travel Fun’s “Take Me Away” vacations.
Charter Airport Service: All of our
vacations that depart via airplane begin and terminate at either
the Main Terminal or the Charter Terminal in Minneapolis/St.
Paul. Transportation is provided from any of our departure
points.

Krumbee’s), Bloomington (Comfort Inn Airport), Fairmont (Holiday
Inn), Glencoe (Bump’s), Hutchinson (Super 8), Jordan (Texaco),
LeSueur (Downtown Motel), Mankato (Happy Chef 169 N), New Ulm
Travel Fun Office, St. Paul (Kelly Inn), St. Peter (Arby’s),
Chaska (Super America station Highways 169 & 41), Sleepy Eye
(Casey’s) and Springfield (Food & Fuel).
Travel Insurance: New Ulm Travel Fun
highly recommends trip cancellation and interruption insurance
protection on all of our vacation packages. Although there is
additional coverage that comes with travel insurance, the main
reason to protect your vacation dollars is in the event of an
incident, such as illness, accident, or death in the family that
would prohibit you from traveling. The closer to your trip
departure date the higher the cancellation penalty and the
entire vacation cost will become nonrefundable. If trip
insurance is purchased within 14 days of your initial trip
deposit, pre-existing medical conditions that you may have will
be included in the coverage. Please contact our office at
1-800-657-0151 for additional trip cancellation insurance
information.
Responsibility: Travel Fun Inc., dba New
Ulm Travel Fun, New Ulm, MN 56073 acts only in the capacity of
an agent for the passengers in all matters pertaining to hotel
accommodations, sightseeing tours, and transportation whether by
railroad, motor coach, motor car, steamship, boat, or airplane,
or by any other means, and as such is not responsible for any
damage, expense, or inconvenience caused by late train, plane,
bus, or ship arrivals or departures, or by any change of
schedule or other conditions, not for the loss of, or damage to
baggage or any article belonging to the passenger, nor for any
loss, injury, or damage to or of any person or property from any
cause whatsoever. The right is reserved to decline to accept or
retain any person as a member of any vacation/tour at any time.
No carrier shall have, or incur, any responsibility or liability
to any person taking these vacations/tours, except its liability
as a common carrier. The liability of the carriers for luggage
or other property accompanying passengers is limited to their
liability as common carriers. Any or all airlines concerned are
not held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the
time passengers are not on their planes or conveyances. The
passengers’ contract used by the airlines concerned, when
issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines
and the purchaser of the vacations/tours and/or passenger.
