Monday,
February 22
Honolulu, Oahu
Our
flight this morning whisks us off to paradise. A traditional
flower lei greeting welcomes us to Honolulu. We are then
transferred to the Miramar Hotel located minutes away from the
famous Waikiki Beach.
Dinner

Tuesday,
February 23
Honolulu, Oahu
Today
we’ll enjoy Hawaii’s history starting with a visit to the
Polynesian Cultural Center. Here young people from various South
Pacific Islands demonstrate their way of life in six authentic
South Pacific Villages. Mix and mingle with the people of the
South Pacific Islands and see an Imax Theatre presentation
before the dinner show feast. Cap off the evening with the
memorable show, “Horizons, Where the Sea Meets the Sky”.
Breakfast and dinner are included.
Wednesday, February 24
Honolulu, Oahu
We have
the entire day at leisure. Our tour manager will offer helpful
suggestions. Stroll the golden sand of lovely Waikiki Beach,
visit the Honolulu Zoo, or take a day trip to Kauai, the Garden
Isle. Evenings in Hawaii are truly enchanting!

Thursday, February 25
Honolulu, Oahu
This
morning we visit Pearl Harbor and view a documentary about the
Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. A Navy launch takes us to
the USS Arizona and Missouri memorial, which spans the sunken
battleships. Honolulu sightseeing includes the Punchbowl
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Iolani Palace, the
Hawaii State Capital, Kawaiaha'o Church, King Kamehameha Statue.
Breakfast is included.
Friday,
February 26
Kona,
Hawaii
This
morning we fly to Kona, the “Big Island” of Hawaii. The history
of Kona comes alive as our guide shows us Kealakekua Bay,
Napoopoo, and the Honaunau Place of Refuge with its restored
haiku (temple) and beautiful grounds. We see the lovely St.
Benedict’s Painted Church
before
checking into the Royal Kona Resort on the beautiful Kona coast.

Saturday, February 27
Kona,
Hawaii
This
morning we take a guided scenic grand circle island tour of
Hawaii. Our travels take us to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach,
followed by a stop at the Punalu'u Bake Shop. Other highlights
include a visit to the Macadamia Nut Visitor Center, Hawaii
Volcanoes National Park, the Halemaumau Fire Pits, Rainbow Falls
at Hilo and an orchid and anthodium nursery.
Lunch is included.
Sunday,
February 28
Kaanapali, Maui
A scenic
flight takes us to Maui. Diverse in natural beauty and a wide
range of activities make Maui a must on any trip to Hawaii.
We’re driven to the lush Iao Valley to see the impressive Iao
Needle, a rock formation that rises 1,200 feet above the floor
of Iao Valley. Enjoy a stop at a tropical plantation and learn
how sugarcane, bananas, macadamia nuts and other products
contribute to the state’s economy. Our journey takes us to
Lahaina, once the whaling capital of the mid-Pacific. We see the
Banyan Tree behind the Old Lahaina Courthouse, the largest tree
on the islands.

Kaanapoli, Maui
Begin
the day with an island breakfast at our leisure. A full free day
is yours to swim, stroll the beach or consider an optional
helicopter flight-seeing excursion, an excursion to Mt.
Haleakala or a glass Buttom Boat Ride.

Tuesday,
March 2
Kaanapali, Maui
Start
the day with a humpback whale-watching cruise.
This evening we are guests at the “Old Lahaina Luau”, a
traditional Hawaiian Feast and Celebration.
Dinner is included.
Wednesday, March 3
Home
Enjoy
the morning before we bid “Aloha” to the Islands of Paradise. We
arrive home on
