National Harbor is a premier destination unlike anything you’ve ever seen—a “new” river front city just minutes from the Nation’s Capital. National Harbor is an exciting, sprawling community that includes fine restaurants, stunning office space, and lavish residences. National Harbor brings together recreation, work, living and entertainment in a way that has never been done before. National Harbor’s unique shops make for a truly unmatched shopping experience. “Fashion Boulevard” offers a unique mix of the hottest and most fashionable brands. Walk between shops along the tree-lined walkways as you gaze out over the Potomac River. It is one million square feel of unparalleled shopping.
Water Taxi service is available from National Harbor to the historic area of Old Town Alexandria. The crossing is approximately 20 minutes by passenger boat and round trip tickets can be purchased on your own. Alexandria is George Washington’s hometown. A city that still has remnants of cobblestone and brick streets. In Old Town you will find antiques, art, boutiques and more. Unique one-of-a-kind restaurants, taverns, bars, bistros and more are located throughout Old Town.
