Tuesday, December 2
East Peoria, Illinois
We begin our vacation to our "Smoky Mountain Christmas" on our
deluxe motor coach with lots of Christmas Spirit! This evening
we enjoy Peoria’s Festival of Lights and Winter Wonderland.
Dinner is include.
Wednesday, December 3
Lexington, Kentucky
After an included breakfast, our vacation continues as we travel
through Indiana into the Blue Grass state of Kentucky. Our
overnight stay is in Lexington.
Deluxe continental breakfast is included.
Thursday, December 4
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
After breakfast this morning we stop at the Kentucky Horse
Center for a tour of the facility, then arrive this afternoon in
Pigeon Forge. Tonight we will enjoy dinner at the Alabama Grill,
followed by our reserved seating performance of a stunning
musical re-creation of the life of Christ at the Miracle
Theater.
Deluxe continental breakfast and dinner is included.
Friday, December 5
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
We begin the day with a Great Smoky Mountains National Park tour
with our “Mountaineer” guide. After enjoying a picnic in the
park, we’ll make our way to Dollywood for a full afternoon of
holiday shows, featuring a multitude of lights, eateries,
crafts, shops and much more!
Deluxe continental breakfast and lunch are included.
Saturday, December 6
Nashville, Tennessee
This morning we depart for Nashville and two nights in beautiful
Atrium Garden View rooms at the Opryland Hotel. After lunch on
your own, we will enjoy the Rockettes “Radio City Christmas
Spectacular.” Tonight we have reserved seating at the world
famous Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium.
Deluxe continental breakfast is included.
Sunday, December 7
Nashville, Tennessee
This morning we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, followed
by an included luncheon cruise and show on the General Jackson
Showboat. We then have the afternoon to visit "Fantasy in Ice",
a Winter Wonderland of spectacular ice carvings, ice sculptures
and ice exhibits next to the Opryland Hotel. This evening we
enjoy a Christmas Dinner Party starring Pam Tillis at the hotel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Monday, December 8
Peoria, Illinois
We say good-bye to Nashville this morning, heading westward to
Peoria for our last overnight.
Breakfast is included.
Tuesday, December 9
Home to Minnesota
After a special included breakfast, we are homeward bound to
Minnesota. We reflect on great memories of our "Smoky Mountain
Christmas", The Smokies, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, & Nashville.
