Long Beach, California
We depart Minneapolis today on our flight to Los Angeles, where
we are met by our local hosts. After checking into our hotel,
we’re off to a Get Acquainted Dinner. It’s just a short drive to
Dr. Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral where we’ll see the
‘Glory of Christmas’ pageant before returning to our hotel.
Dinner is included.
Thursday, December 31
Long Beach, California
After breakfast we tour the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library,
with an included lunch. This afternoon it’s “Lights, Cameras,
Los Angeles”, with a guided city tour of Los Angeles. This
evening welcome in 2010 at our New Year’s Eve Party, with
dancing, party favors and casino fun.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Friday, January 1, 2010
Long Beach, California
This morning we get an early start with Breakfast to Go and
drive to Pasadena. We take our reserved seats for the 120th
Tournament of Roses Parade, including a souvenir seat cushion!
Magnificently decorated floats, celebrity appearances, great
marching bands from all over the country and colorful riders on
horses make up this well known event. Following the parade we
enjoy a sumptuous brunch. The rest of New Year’s afternoon and
evening is at leisure.

Saturday, January 2
Long Beach, California
Today we return to Pasadena to view the floats on display along
Sierra Madre Boulevard. You’ll enjoy the fragrance of the
blossoms and observe how various live plants are incorporated to
create the many floats. This afternoon we visit the Getty Center
Museum and Gardens. This evening we will have our Farewell
Dinner at Lawry’s Prime Rib Restaurant.
Breakfast and dinner are included.
Sunday, January 3
Home
We enjoy a full American breakfast before we depart for the
airport and our return flight home with truly great memories of
the Rose Bowl Parade and California sunshine.
Breakfast is included.

Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended. Please call

Cancellation policy:
If cancellation notice is received, in writing, by the following
days, the appropriate penalty will apply:
59 - 31 days prior to departure: $200 plus processing fee plus
any nonrefundable deposits
30 – 15 days prior to departure: 50% of trip cost
14 days or less: no refund
